Our Connections in the Local Community
We love our local business owners and strive to create community-based tourism experiences. That means everything we do includes the people and community that call Vancouver home. All our tour experiences showcase the amazingness of our local partners who we visit, engage with, and learn from. We are dedicated to them, and the quality products they create. We are committed to being part of our community and making our business practices sustainable.
Our Local Partners
Main Street Brewing
Est. 2014
For a friendly and engaging atmosphere, be sure to visit Main Street Brewing tucked into a 1913 heritage building originally known as the Vancouver Breweries Garage. Past meets present in this perfect hideaway, come rain or shine. You will be enthralled by the sounds of the brewhouse and the sweet smell of the spent grain emanating from the tasting room in the corner of the building. You can sample from the extensive beer list which includes five core brands (pilsner, pale ale, IPA, saison and brown ale), several interesting seasonals, and up to four cask ales that are hand pumped the old-fashioned way.
Faculty Brewing Co.
Est. 2016
Our partners, Faculty Brewing Co. really epitomize community spirit. With their policy of being completely open-source, they share their beer recipes in an effort to foster a sense of communal discussion and constructive feedback. As they say themselves, “…much like a college or university, Faculty Brewing Co. is a platform for idea-sharing and education”. They work and collaborate with other breweries and local homebrewers to test new recipes and experiment with innovative ideas. They are definitely worth paying a visit if you have any interest in learning more about brewing beer.
R&B Brewing
Est. 1997
Mount Pleasant hasn’t always been trendy and cool, but R&B Brewing has. Back when the area was fairly gritty, R&B Brewing pitched up in 1997, soon found a loyal local following and they are now considered granddads to the beer scene that is thriving around their Mount Pleasant location. As they continue to grow they promise to keep things modest, unique, fun and local. You’ll be drinking their innovative ales in a cozy and retro-styled setting, making it a popular place for locals and visitors alike.
False Creek Ferries
Est. 1981
False Creek Ferries, a real local favourite, have been serving Vancouver locals and visitors for over 40 years. They pick us up and drop us off when we’re exploring Vancouver’s neighbourhoods that skirt downtown and are separated only by the waterway.
